The History
Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius - Marilyn Monroe
On the fourth of September, in the bright an early morning, a young baby girl emerged from her mother's womb to greet the doctor viciously tearing her from house and home. It was the year of '92 when the girl was dubbed Autumn, setting the poor child up for many 'fall' jokes. Autumn was taken to England two months after being born and then moved to France a few years after. Several years later her parents divorced and she was forced to move to the United States of America, however at the time President Clinton was in office and her mother had no clue that George Bush would be elected. So the girl grew into an awkward, self-deprecating, nerd who fantasized about anime. During her fifth grade year she found the solace in the internet, especially Neopets. Wanting to pursue art, even though she had no technique in drawing, or any other form of art for that matter, she still wanted to create beautiful things. Soon she taught herself HTML, PHP, MYSQL, JAVA, and a enough PEARL to create a forum. Her first website, Myprayerbeads.com was funded by her mother's boss, after about a year Autumn realized that she needed a real host, a CPANAL, and MYSQL database. It was then that she registered Myprayerbeads.org as an anime graphics site, and Hybrid-Rhapsody.net as a portfolio. Several years later, about four, she started high school and completely lost the ambition to web design. She created a horrible addiction to World of Warcraft and finally stopped obsessing after putting more than 25 days of her life into the game to create a level 70 undead rogue. And now the story ends and the writing continues, after the websites timed out Autumn registered Myprayerbeads.net in hopes to create a new start.

You're my experimental game, just human nature - Katy Perry
I believe everyone can be an artist, however I want to change the web design community for the better. By only offering my own creations, on my portfolio site, I want other aspiring graphic designers to realize that using other designer's work, such as textures, and brushes, does not make a good designer. Everything on this site has been created by me, excluding fonts, but I'm working on creating my own fonts as well. By showcasing my own talent I want to prove that web designing is independent, so if you're looking to create a new killer layout say no to the textures from Hybrid-Genesis, even though they're the most gorgeous textures on the net. Try to experiment yourself and maybe you'll find that your designs can be great without the work of another.

You forget that in your fairy tale, bitch, I'm the wolf - Dillinger
Throughout the years I've met so many friends online, and many of them helped me along to be the best that I could possibly be. The most influential person to me is the amazing designer, Mel. I can't even remember how long I've known her now, she seems to be in all of my memories from being an awkward leech on the net. I can't even begin to explain how she molded me into what I am today. She taught me how to code tables, which contrary to popular belief, work better than DIVs. Also, she taught me how to blend, which apparently is out of style now, and among other things she was always there when no one else was. This section is dedicated fully to her just because of how much she's taught me, it's certain to say if I hadn't met her I wouldn't be designing, and that wouldn't do, everyone needs a dose of Queen Bitch Aki in their morning coffee.
